What

Locked Up, Shut Out: The IRIS Center’s Resources About Young People With Disabilities in the U.S. Juvenile Justice System

In the United States today, more than 60,000 young people are being held at some level of the juvenile justice system. Many of these are students with disabilities. However, less than half of students with learning disabilities say they received special education services while confined. Join our OSEP-funded center for an overview and discussion about our online modules on this increasingly important and pressing social and instructional issue.
