IRIS Impact Studies Initiative: Winners!

The IRIS Center is proud to announce the winning Impact Studies for 2014-2015.  Of the 14 submitted proposals, the review board narrowed it down to the following list of winners for 2014.  The IRIS Impact Study Initiative provides support and assistance to doctoral students or faculty interested in conducting research about the effectiveness of IRIS resources used in teacher education and/or professional development. To ensure high-quality studies, the IRIS Center will make available to each funded project consultation services offered by a national expert in research design and analysis.

We are so excited about the possibilities stemming from this new IRIS initiative, and we are delighted to share the names and projects:

  • Carly Roberts, PhD; Assistant Professor at Purdue University.
  • Kristin Sayeski, PhD; Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia.
  • Scott Snyder, PhD; Associate Professor at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
  • Christine Spence:  PhD Student at the University of Illinois, Early Intervention Training Program (EITP).
