Remembering Janette Klingner

We are saddened to note the passing of Dr. Janette Klingner even as we celebrate her life and commitment to the education of all children. Janette was a nationally renowned researcher and leader whose work focused on reading strategies and the overrepresentation of diverse students in special education. With IRIS, she developed our Teaching English Language Learners: Effective Instructional Practices Module.
